My messy notes

There’re a number of non trivial tasks I don’t perform so often to get all the details fixed on my memory. One example for all: burning CDs from the command line with cdrecord. As solving more then one time the same problem is inefficient and frustrating, I started to take notes.

Most of the notes I take are just a bunch of commands written somewhere in my untidy home directory, but with time some of them took the shape of mini-, or, better, micro-HOWTOs. Thus I decided to make them more readable and share them, hoping that they will be useful. It should be unnecessary to say that I didn’t try to be general or complete in any way.
